Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 2-3 years relevant food and beverage management experience
- Valid TABC certification
- Current Food Handlers certification
- Ability to lift and move 50 lbs
- Ability to stand or walk for prolonged periods
- Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- CPR certification or readiness to obtain
- Knowledge of safety and sanitation regulations
- Familiarity with liquor liability laws
- Previous experience in hotel or resort food and beverage operations
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
Job Qualifications
- Minimum of 2-3 years of food and beverage management experience in a hotel or resort environment
- Strong knowledge of front-of-house operations, bar service, pool operations, and coffee service preferred
- Proven leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Financial acumen with experience in labor management, forecasting, and profit and loss review
- Ability to work flexible schedules including mornings, evenings, weekends, holidays, and seasonal peak periods
- CPR or willingness to obtain certification
- Must have current TABC and Food Handlers Certifications
- Must be able to lift, pull, push 50lbs plus
- Must be able to walk and stand for up to 10 plus hours
Job Duties
- Ensure maximum guest satisfaction through active floor and pool deck leadership
- Maintain and refine service standards and guest flow
- Conduct daily pre-shift meetings
- Monitor timing of service and guest engagement
- Handle guest concerns and complaints
- Recognize repeat and VIP guests
- Monitor guest feedback related to food, beverage, and service quality
- Oversee daily front-of-house operations for Cloud Bar and President's House Coffee
- Supervise service during all operating hours
- Ensure service areas are fully stocked and operational
- Maintain cleanliness of outlets and guest areas
- Ensure all equipment and POS systems are functioning
- Maintain proper atmosphere including lighting and music
- Assist in service and seating as needed
- Ensure all pool operations comply with policies and safety regulations
- Enforce pool rules and liquor liability laws
- Schedule and conduct safety training and emergency drills
- Maintain communication regarding incidents and safety issues
- Maintain visible leadership presence on the pool deck
- Recruit, hire, train, and develop front-of-house associates
- Ensure appropriate staffing levels
- Create and approve weekly schedules
- Monitor associate performance and appearance
- Promote cross-training and development opportunities
- Conduct regular supervisor meetings
- Manage outlet profitability and labor control
- Oversee payroll management
- Participate in budgeting and financial reviews
- Conduct end-of-month inventories
- Maintain accurate inventories
- Review and approve purchase requests
- Ensure proper cashiering and deposits
- Conduct menu engineering and pricing analysis
- Drive revenue through up-selling and promotions
- Ensure adherence to all brand standards and policies
- Enforce liquor laws including prevention of service to minors
- Ensure knowledge of emergency procedures and accident prevention
- Maintain compliance with health and safety standards
