Job Requirements

  • At least 21 years of age
  • Three years management experience in casual dining or high-volume food and beverage outlet
  • Excellent written, verbal and group presentation communication skills
  • Effective leadership techniques
  • Program and system planning skills
  • Decision making skills
  • Staff development skills
  • Statistical reporting and analysis skills
  • Cost-benefit analysis skills
  • Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Working knowledge of kitchen equipment and sanitation guidelines
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree preferred
  • TAM work card
  • Health work card
  • Non-Gaming work card
  • Ability to walk and stand continuously indoors over 75 percent of the time
  • Ability to lift, push, pull, carry, bend and kneel up to 50 percent of the time
  • Ability to use chemical agents and wear protective equipment less than 25 percent of the time
  • Ability to frequently lift or move objects up to 20 pounds
  • Adequate hearing, vision, speech and literacy
  • Ability to work in smoky, noisy and temperature-variable environments

Job Duties

  • Hire, train, schedule, develop and discipline staff to maintain standards
  • Oversee standards of service and handle deviations
  • Monitor staff to ensure outstanding guest service and handle guest complaints
  • Evaluate processes and provide methods to improve efficiency and service
  • Review financial reports including profit and loss statements and payroll to meet budget requirements
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and culinary contract agreements
  • Maintain cleanliness, organization and proper functioning of restaurants and equipment
  • Enforce health, safety and sanitation standards
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management
