Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • minimum 5 years experience in food and beverage management or related field
  • knowledge of golf industry operations preferred
  • strong leadership and team management skills
  • excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
  • familiarity with health, safety, and alcohol regulations
  • effective communication skills
  • basic computer proficiency
  • ability to work flexible schedules including weekends and holidays

Job Qualifications

  • college degree preferred
  • 5 years applicable functional, supervisory and or management experience, preferably in the golf industry
  • demonstrated experience and capability in budget development, fiscal management, strategic planning, staff management
  • demonstrated quality written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  • ability to analyze and solve problems
  • efficiently handle multiple duties under pressure with minimal supervision
  • work flexible hours including nights and weekends
  • positive attitude, professional manner and appearance in all situations

Job Duties

  • develop the annual food and beverage budget and operating plan
  • implement the plan according to company operating policies and procedures to ensure profit goals are achieved
  • plan and implement staffing schedules to ensure customer service standards are achieved with minimum employee cost
  • ensure maintenance of all appropriate sanitation standards including employee hygiene and uniforms, kitchen equipment and preparation areas, food storage areas, dining areas, bar areas, restrooms, and beverage carts
  • establish and implement a cleaning and preventative maintenance program for fixtures, equipment, appliances, and vehicles
  • implement and monitor purchase ordering and receiving programs to maintain par-stock levels on food and beverage inventories
  • monitor internal cost controls to ensure quality levels in food and beverage products, production, presentation, service, facilities, and guest satisfaction
  • sell food and beverage services to potential outing clients and members, assist in planning, and develop promotional programs
  • ensure compliance with operating guidelines relating to payroll, sanitation, alcohol, and ADA requirements
  • manage employment activities including recruitment, evaluations, training, compensation, discipline, and termination
  • maintain knowledge of industry developments through continuous education and trade association participation
  • assure efficient and timely submission of all operational, financial, budgetary, and related reports
  • perform other duties as appropriate
