Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- Previous restaurant manager experience required
- Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Understanding of financial statements and labor productivity
- Ability to handle guest complaints effectively
- Proficiency in staff scheduling and management
- Knowledge of liquor liability laws
- Ability to perform emergency procedures including CPR
- Excellent organizational skills

Job Duties
- Ensure maximum guest satisfaction while dining in the restaurant
- Conduct daily pre-meal meetings with service staff
- Supervise floor operations during service
- Ensure service personnel follow protocol including steps of service
- Monitor timing of guest experience
- Handle guest complaints to satisfaction
- Maintain smooth running restaurant operations
- Create weekly schedules for front of house staff
- Ensure kitchen, stewarding, and cashier staff are scheduled and on duty
- Stock side stations with necessary equipment
- Verify side work completion and manager sign off
- Ensure beverage machines are functioning
- Manage station rotation in seating
- Assist seating or guest service when needed
- Coordinate dining room functions during service
- Monitor productivity of service staff
- Critique food quality and consistency
- Post and update special boards or descriptions
- Check food quality and presentation from kitchen
- Maintain food displays during service
- Monitor guest satisfaction and comments on food and service
- Recognize repeat guests
- Review reservations and VIP lists daily
- Handle all special attention details properly
- Maintain restaurant cleanliness and atmosphere
- Ensure staff uniforms and appearances meet standards
- Inspect and maintain tabletops, side stations, and tray stands
- Check menus daily
- Ensure equipment is clean and in good condition
- Keep work areas neat and orderly
- Adjust lights and music appropriately
- Control costs to contribute to profitability
- Perform positive up-selling techniques
- Expedite table turnover and resetting
- Implement sales and merchandising programs
- Be familiar with beverage procedures and assist cashier
- Adhere to company policies and emergency procedures including CPR
- Enforce liquor liability laws
- Perform other duties as assigned by management
