Job Duties
- Oversee daily restaurant, bar, and event food service operations to ensure a welcoming, high-quality experience
- maintain high standards for food quality, presentation, and guest service
- develop and implement operating procedures, ensuring consistency and efficiency across shifts
- monitor dining room, kitchen, and bar workflow to support smooth service
- recruit, train, schedule, and supervise front-of-house and back-of-house staff
- promote a positive, collaborative, resident-focused team culture
- provide coaching and performance feedback to ensure service excellence
- ensure staffing levels meet seasonal and event demands
- build strong relationships with guests
- address service issues or complaints in a timely, professional manner
- support community events, holiday functions, and special dining programs
- manage food and labor budgets
- monitor costs and revenue performance
- oversee inventory management, purchasing, and vendor relationships
- assist with menu planning and pricing in collaboration with culinary leadership
- complete required reporting and administrative documentation
- ensure compliance with state/local health codes, alcohol service laws, and food safety regulations
- maintain a clean, organized dining and kitchen environment
- implement and monitor safety and sanitation protocols
