Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
  • Previous restaurant manager experience required
  • Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Job Duties

  • Provide proper training and supervision of all personnel including assistant managers and supervisors
  • Ensure prompt, courteous service in compliance with Omni Food and Beverage standards and company policies
  • Achieve maximum guest satisfaction while dining in the restaurant
  • Conduct daily pre-meal meetings with service staff
  • Supervise floor operations during service
  • Enforce service protocol including steps of service
  • Monitor timing of guest experience
  • Handle guest complaints to satisfaction
  • Maintain smooth running restaurant operations
  • Create and manage front-of-house staff weekly schedules
  • Ensure kitchen, stewarding, and cashier staff are on duty as scheduled
  • Ensure side-stations are fully stocked and side-work is completed
  • Monitor beverage machine functionality
  • Rotate stations in seating
  • Assist in seating or service of guests as necessary
  • Coordinate all dining room functions during service
  • Monitor service staff productivity
  • Critique quality and consistency of food product
  • Ensure accuracy of special boards and descriptions
  • Check food quality and presentation from kitchen continuously
  • Maintain food displays during service
  • Monitor guest satisfaction and feedback
  • Recognize repeat guests for personalized service
  • Review reservations and VIP lists daily
  • Handle all special attention details properly
  • Maintain restaurant cleanliness and physical atmosphere
  • Enforce uniform and appearance standards
  • Inspect tabletops, side-stations, tray stands
  • Ensure menu inspection by hostess daily
  • Maintain equipment condition and cleanliness
  • Keep work areas neat, orderly, and clean
  • Adjust lights and music appropriately for meal periods
  • Contribute to profitability through cost control
  • Promote positive upselling techniques
  • Expedite table turnover and resetting
  • Implement sales promotions and merchandising
  • Assist cashier with beverage procedures
  • Adhere to company policies and emergency procedures including CPR
  • Enforce liquor liability laws
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management
