Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Minimum of 1 year restaurant/bar management experience
  • Ability to obtain Food Handlers and Tips Certification within six months
  • Ability to work flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
  • Ability to be on feet and alert for extended periods
  • Ability to lift up to 35 lbs
  • Continuous use of hands and arms
  • Continuous bending, reaching, and twisting
  • Strong leadership capabilities
  • Attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum of 1 year restaurant/bar management experience
  • Strong leadership skills with ability to train, coach, develop and motivate others
  • Possess or ability to obtain Food Handlers and Tips Certification within six months of employment
  • Attention to detail
  • High level of integrity and hands-on management style
  • Experience with Toast point of sales system preferred
  • Exceptional organizational and operational skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills including professionalism and public speaking
  • Ability to work flexible schedule including AM/PM shifts, weekends and holidays
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Higher education degree in hospitality management or related field preferred or equivalent experience

Job Duties

  • Responsible for daily operations for scheduled business unit (the Coffee Bar, Roof, and Events/Catering), ensuring quality and standards
  • Attend weekly BEO and manager meetings to discuss service focus points, upcoming events, and operational needs
  • Work scheduled floor shifts to fill staffing gaps, support team, and lead by example
  • Monitor food quality to ensure consistency, appeal, and guest specifications
  • Be expert on floor operations including POS, steps of service, and menus
  • Interact with guests to obtain feedback and resolve complaints
  • Reconcile daily audit materials including timesheet authorizations and cash drops
  • Oversee ordering and inventory for primary business unit
  • Prepare and control payroll
  • Review schedules to eliminate labor overages
  • Collaborate with Director of F&B and other managers for event programming
  • Enforce food safety policies compliant with FDA and Health Department
  • Coordinate cleaning program and recommend improvements
  • Enforce hotel human resources policies
  • Conduct interviews, coach and support associates
  • Help team establish KPIs and review goals
  • Maintain communication with team members, guests, and vendors
  • Promote a team culture of service excellence, professionalism, and teamwork
