Job Requirements
- up to one year of related work experience
- knowledge of guest service principles
- understanding of food and beverage operations
- ability to manage inventory and control costs
- strong leadership and communication skills
- us work authorization or current four seasons managerial position
- willingness to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
Job Qualifications
- college degree preferred
- up to one year of previous employment in a related position
- thorough knowledge of guest service
- experience with cost control
- familiarity with labor control, merchandising, and accounting
- prior union experience beneficial
- prior new york experience preferred
- experience with opera and micros computer systems is a plus
Job Duties
- oversee all facets of the food and beverage division
- supervise the consistency, quality, and efficiency of food and beverage service
- maintain par stocks of inventory for all f&b areas
- hire, train, supervise, and discipline food and beverage staff
- manage cost control, labor control, merchandising, and accounting in the food and beverage department
- ensure exceptional guest service standards are maintained
- collaborate with other hotel departments to enhance guest experiences
