Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in food and beverage leadership roles across multiple outlets within a 4 or 5-star hotel environment
  • Ability to meet financial targets and manage budgets effectively
  • Proven track record in enhancing the performance of food and beverage outlets
  • Outstanding stakeholder management skills
  • Strong knowledge of food and beverage trends and Hilton brand standards
  • Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing priorities
  • Excellent communication skills in verbal and written English
  • Willingness to develop team members and self
  • Flexibility to respond to different work situations
  • Professional grooming standards and punctuality
  • A creative and proactive leader with a passion for the hospitality industry

Job Qualifications

  • Proven track record in enhancing the performance of food and beverage outlets, restaurants, bars, and event spaces
  • Outstanding stakeholder management skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with heads of departments
  • Strong knowledge of food and beverage trends and Hilton brand standards
  • Excellent communication skills in verbal and written English
  • Willingness to develop team members and self
  • Flexibility to respond to different work situations
  • Professional grooming standards and punctuality
  • A creative and proactive leader with a passion for the hospitality industry
  • Bachelor's degree in hospitality, business, or related field (advantageous)
  • Relevant hotel management certifications such as food handling certificate, LCQ, GM certificate, or WSET (advantageous)
  • Passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences (advantageous)

Job Duties

  • Manage all food and beverage operations across restaurants, bars, banquets, and room service
  • Maintain exceptional levels of product quality and guest service
  • Recruit, train, and develop food and beverage managers, supervisors, and team members
  • Conduct daily briefings and ensure effective communication across outlets
  • Respond promptly to guest inquiries and coordinate special arrangements for events and VIPs
  • Work within budgeted guidelines for food, beverage, and payroll costs
  • Drive sales and implement upselling initiatives to maximize revenue
  • Develop menus and beverage programs in collaboration with the Culinary Director and leadership team
  • Monitor and control costs, conduct monthly stock takes, and ensure profit flow-through to departmental targets
  • Set departmental targets, objectives, work schedules, and policies
  • Evaluate guest satisfaction levels and implement continuous improvement plans
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety standards, HACCP certification, and OHS policies
  • Assist other departments where necessary and maintain strong interdepartmental relationships
  • Comply with hotel security, fire regulations, and all health and safety legislation
