Job Requirements

  • must pass security clearance
  • must be able to push or pull 60 pounds and lift or carry 50 pounds
  • must be able to stand for eight hours and perform bending, stretching, reaching
  • must be able to see and hear
  • must be able to speak and read English
  • must display professionalism, honesty and trustworthiness at all times

Job Qualifications

  • two years experience supervising at least three associates
  • one year experience following standard recipes
  • experience ordering, pricing food and inventory control
  • experience with chain food and retail outlets preferred
  • knowledge of financial aspects of running a department including labor, food and beverage costs control
  • supervisory skills including interviewing, hiring, training, appraising and documenting employees
  • computer literate with property management systems
  • understanding of BEOs and event details
  • knowledge of OSHA requirements and safety practices

Job Duties

  • oversee day-to-day operations of food and beverage outlets
  • manage personnel including hiring, training, coaching, and counseling
  • control budget performance and financials
  • maintain equipment and ensure proper storage of products
  • prepare, service, and set up menu items
  • ensure compliance with food safety, health, and OSHA standards
  • act as manager on duty in absence of other department heads
