Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in hospitality or related field
  • minimum of three years progressive hotel food and beverage management experience in a similar resort environment
  • excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • proven ability to lead and develop teams
  • proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • availability to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • ability to handle multiple priorities and maintain high standards of customer service
  • knowledge of health and safety regulations applicable to food and beverage operations

Job Qualifications

  • Three years or more of progressive food and beverage management experience in a resort hotel setting
  • demonstrated ability to effectively interact with diverse guests and colleagues
  • service-oriented with professional presentation skills
  • high energy and entrepreneurial spirit
  • proven leadership and motivational skills
  • effective communication skills both written and verbal
  • proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel

Job Duties

  • Plan short- and long-term financial and operational strategies for the food and beverage department
  • maintain Hyatt service standards to ensure a consistent guest experience
  • hire, train, empower, and develop food and beverage colleagues and direct reports
  • oversee payroll, scheduling, productivity, reporting, forecasting, inventory management, and budgeting
  • implement cost control measures including managing food waste and labor costs
  • address member and guest inquiries and requests to maintain high satisfaction
  • enforce quality control of food and beverage offerings
  • ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and Hyatt standards
  • develop processes and procedures to enhance outlet performance
  • maintain a strong presence on the floor during service
  • coordinate F&B operations with other resort departments for efficient guest service
  • resolve guest complaints to uphold satisfaction and quality
  • coach and counsel employees to align with Hyatt service standards
  • maintain proficient knowledge of spirits, wines, beers, cocktails, and beverage trends
  • create and sustain a diverse, innovative beverage program
