Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred
- Three years of food and beverage management experience
- Previous supervisory experience preferred
- Attendance and certification in TIPS training
- Ability to complete Alcohol Awareness Training
- Proficiency in POS systems and scheduling software
- Knowledge of food safety, alcohol laws, and permitting
- Understanding of supervisory and kitchen management principles
- Ability to maintain cleanliness standards
- Skill in conflict resolution
- Ability to develop policies and programs
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to manage budgets and create reports

Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in hospitality management, business, or related field preferred
- Three years of experience in food and beverage management, preferably in multi-venue or event settings
- Previous supervisory experience preferred
- Ability to obtain and maintain TIPS certification
- Ability to attend Alcohol Awareness Training
- Proficient with POS systems, scheduling platforms, and office software like Excel and Outlook
- Knowledge of food safety standards, alcohol laws, and permitting requirements
- Knowledge of supervisory principles and practices
- Knowledge of kitchen operations and menu planning
- Understanding of standards for cleanliness and personal hygiene
- Knowledge of purchasing food and supplies
- Skill in maintaining professional relations

Job Duties
- Oversees and coordinates concessions, catering, and other food and beverage services across assigned facilities, including the Expo Idaho Center grounds, Turf Club, and Boise Professional Soccer facility, ensuring that the organization's food and beverage programs meet customer needs
- Supervises personnel, assigns work, evaluates performance, resolves employee complaints, takes disciplinary actions, interviews and hires employees, tracks time, and manages vacation schedules
- Recruits, trains, schedules, and supervises part-time and temporary staff
- ensures staff training in food handling, cash management, and responsible alcohol service
- Administers alcohol sales and permitting processes to ensure compliance with alcohol laws for all Expo Idaho properties
- Plans and implements training programs for bar and kitchen staff, conducts meetings and shift briefings
- Coordinates banquets, catering, and special events including VIP or private functions
- Provides direct on-site supervision during large events to ensure smooth operations
- Takes inventory, orders and receives food, beverages, and supplies
- monitors budgets and profitability
- Ensures compliance with sanitation, health and safety, and alcohol regulations
- Serves as county liaison to third-party operators and vendors, ensuring compliance with health, safety, and customer service standards
- Coordinates vendor and procurement processes including identifying vendors, managing orders and invoices, requesting bids, and troubleshooting supply chain issues
- Evaluates and implements standard operating procedures for consistent service flow
- Oversees inventory and cost control measures, supervises inventory counts, monitors food and alcohol waste, and analyzes data for planning and budgeting
- Prepares and presents financial and performance reports
- Ensures accurate point-of-sale systems, cash handling, and reconciliations
- Assists in managing the Food and Beverage Services budget.
