Job Requirements

  • Associate's degree in hospitality management or related field or equivalent experience
  • Minimum three years of food service management experience
  • Demonstrated knowledge of banquet operations
  • Strong customer service orientation
  • Advanced oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple events effectively
  • Excellent organizational and planning capabilities
  • Ability to maintain Serve-Safe certification
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products
  • Availability to work irregular hours including weekends and evenings

Job Qualifications

  • Associate's degree in hospitality management or related field
  • Minimum three years of food service management experience in restaurant, hotel, country club or similar environment
  • Demonstrated knowledge of banquet services and operations
  • Strong customer service orientation
  • Excellent organizational, planning, and interpersonal skills
  • Advanced oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to manage financial information and meet budget goals
  • Ability to maintain Serve-Safe certification
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office including Word, Publisher, and Excel
  • Ability to work irregular hours including weekends and evenings

Job Duties

  • Manage all food and beverage services in the facility
  • Oversee banquet and meeting service requirements and coordination
  • Ensure effective operation of concession areas during events
  • Manage beverage inventories and comply with liquor control regulations
  • Schedule labor and maintain payroll accuracy
  • Hire, train, and supervise wait staff, bar staff, and concessions staff
  • Conduct pre-shift meetings and participate in client meetings
  • Maintain health department scores and ensure compliance with safety standards
  • Reconcile point-of-sale systems and manage revenues
  • Act as manager on duty during events as needed
