Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of five years in food and beverage leadership roles
  • Proven experience managing multiple food and beverage outlets
  • Ability to work varied shift patterns including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Competence in inventory and cost control
  • Ability to manage and lead a diverse team
  • Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, lift 10-45 pounds regularly
  • Willingness to work in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment
  • Excellent organizational and decision-making skills
  • Commitment to guest service excellence

Job Qualifications

  • Five years of food and beverage leadership experience
  • Experience managing multiple outlets
  • Knowledge of hotel, resort, or fine dining food and beverage operations
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to lead a team of leaders in a service excellence environment
  • Knowledge of budgeting, revenue, labor, and inventory systems
  • Experience with bar, wine, and spirits management
  • Ability to work with all levels of management

Job Duties

  • Achieve budgeted food and beverage sales, labor costs, and profitability
  • Analyze food and beverage prices compared to competition
  • Participate in food and beverage marketing initiatives
  • Conduct competitive analysis biannually
  • Develop and maintain department control procedures
  • Handle all food and beverage inquiries with timely follow-up
  • Coordinate with banquet and conference planners on group requirements
  • Manage staff, complaints, and disciplinary procedures
  • Strategize to improve staff performance and guest service scores
  • Maintain open and effective communication
  • Oversee receiving deliveries and inventory control
  • Maintain a safe, sanitized, and orderly establishment
  • Report stock shortages including glasses and equipment
  • Liaise with general manager regarding liquor stocks and costs
  • Participate in management team decision making
  • Delegate work and determine operational methods
  • Oversee daily and shift scheduling
  • Maximize revenue from all sales opportunities
  • Support training programs and hotel brand trainings
  • Ensure a safe and productive work environment
