Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in hospitality or related field
  • minimum of 5 years experience in food and beverage management
  • strong organizational and leadership abilities
  • ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
  • excellent problem-solving skills
  • strong knowledge of beverage programs and trends
  • effective communication skills
  • ability to manage multiple priorities concurrently

Job Duties

  • Short- and long-term planning for the department areas of focus, including financial success, and customer and colleague satisfaction
  • maintain Hyatt standards of service and ensure consistency in the guest experience
  • hire, train, empower, and develop colleagues and direct reports
  • oversee payroll, scheduling, productivity, reporting, forecasts, inventory, and budget for areas of responsibility
  • assist with maintaining cost controls through assessing F&B offerings, mitigating food waste, managing the labor budget and ensuring profitability of F&B programming
  • address questions and requests as appropriate to maintain a high level of member and guest satisfaction and quality
  • implement procedures to increase guest and colleague satisfaction
  • exercise quality control for both food and beverage
  • ensure full compliance with Department of Health regulations, local State regulations and Hyatt standards
  • establish, maintain, and develop processes and procedures to grow outlet performance
  • floor presence is a requirement during service
  • coordinate food and beverage operations with other Resort departments to ensure efficient guest service
  • resolve guest complaints as appropriate to maintain a high level of satisfaction and quality
  • coach and counsel employees to reflect Hyatt service standards and procedure
  • demonstrate proficient knowledge of spirits, wines, beers, cocktails, and emerging beverage trends
  • curate and maintain a diverse, innovative beverage program that aligns with Hyatt standards and guest preferences
