Job Qualifications
- at least three years experience in food and beverage, preferably in luxury resorts, private clubs or fine dining establishments in a leadership role
- banquet management and private event execution experience highly recommended
- knowledge of food safety standards with Food Handlers and TABC certifications or ability to obtain
- strong expertise in fine dining service and bartending
- knowledge of wine, beer, and mixed beverages
- experience in budget development and oversight
- multi-tasking and time management skills
- ability to learn club operating systems such as TEI
Job Duties
- provide exceptional service and communication with members, guests and team members
- ensure all areas are staffed, outfitted and set up daily
- manage the third party lifeguard team during the summer season
- lead food and beverage operations and coordinate with Activity Barn Manager and Event Manager
- assist with member or guest issues and concerns professionally
- maintain thorough understanding of bar and restaurant menus and pricing
- maintain programming of point-of-sale system for accurate tracking and charging
- manage team presence and communication through observance and teamwork
- initiate and attend departmental meetings
- assist with daily scheduling and monitor punctuality
- ensure continual product quality and procedure maintenance
- organize and prepare team for daily activity
- ensure compliance with government, safety, health and security standards
- supervise Pool Complex operations and events
- maintain cleanliness and appearance of Pool Complex and event spaces year-round
- oversee daily Pool Complex operations including waterslide, lazy river, pools, and food and beverage services
- collaborate with Director of Residential Services/Facilities Maintenance on pool complex supplies
- plan, promote and execute daily and special event programming with Event Manager
- manage events from setup to breakdown
- assist in setting buffets, bars and food and beverage activations
- act as primary liaison with members
- oversee daily pool maintenance with contracted team
- create, manage and track departmental budgets
- assist in development of operating procedures for Creek, Pool Complex, and related amenities
- collaborate on kid's camp and year-round programs
- innovate and create amenities and experiences
- prepare reports and documentation for the department
- maintain AED, First Aid and CPR program requirements
- perform other assigned duties as needed
