Job Requirements

  • Associate's degree in hospitality management or related field or equivalent experience
  • Minimum three years of food service management experience in restaurant, hotel, country club, or similar environment
  • Knowledge of banquet services and operations
  • Strong customer service orientation

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Manage all food and beverage services for the facility including banquets, meetings, bars, and concessions
  • Ensure all food and beverage services operate efficiently and consistently within quality standards
  • Oversee presentation and service of food and beverage products to maintain high-quality standards
  • Coordinate with kitchen staff and other functional areas on timing and production of service
  • Manage break-down activities to ensure event areas and service hallways are clean and orderly
  • Fulfill appropriate service requirements per Banquet Event Orders and Concession Event Orders
  • Manage full operations of concession areas during events including staff training for food/alcohol service
  • Maintain cash handling and inventory controls in accordance with ASM policies
  • Manage beverage inventories, orders, and compliance with liquor control regulations
  • Schedule labor within fiscal budgets for events
  • Maintain payroll and timesheet accuracy
  • Order and manage inventory of linens, uniforms, and small ware
  • Reconcile point-of-sale systems and revenues
  • Hire, train, and supervise servers, cashiers, bartenders, and captains
  • Conduct pre-shift meetings and participate in client meetings representing the Food and Beverage department
  • Maintain health department score of 95 or higher
  • Participate actively in local hospitality community and professional associations
  • May act as Manager on Duty during events as needed
