Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management or related field preferred
- Minimum of 3 years progressive experience in food and beverage management preferably in a resort environment
- Strong leadership and team development skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite specifically Word and Excel
- Ability to manage budgets payroll and scheduling effectively
- Knowledge of health safety and sanitation regulations
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights weekends and holidays
- High energy entrepreneurial mindset and strong customer service orientation
- Experience with developing and implementing F&B programs and controls
Job Qualifications
- 3 years or more of progressive hotel F&B management experience in a similar Resort setting
- Demonstrated ability to effectively interact with people
- Service oriented style with professional presentation skills
- Must possess high energy entrepreneurial spirit motivational leadership and proven track record in high volume concepts
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to provide exceptional customer service and improve the bottom line
- Clear concise written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Excellent organizational interpersonal and administrative skills
- Experience in implementing new food & beverage concepts
- Availability to work a flexible schedule including nights weekends and holidays
Job Duties
- Short- and long-term planning for the department areas of focus including financial success customer and colleague satisfaction
- Maintain Hyatt standards of service and ensure consistency in the guest experience
- Hire train empower and develop colleagues and direct reports
- Oversee payroll scheduling productivity reporting forecasts inventory and budget for areas of responsibility
- Assist with maintaining cost controls through assessing F&B offerings mitigating food waste managing the labor budget and ensuring profitability of F&B programming
- Address questions and requests as appropriate to maintain a high level of member and guest satisfaction and quality
- Implement procedures to increase guest and colleague satisfaction
- Exercise quality control for both food and beverage
- Ensure full compliance with Department of Health regulations local State regulations and Hyatt standards
- Establish maintain and develop processes and procedures to grow outlet performance
- Floor presence is a requirement during service
- Coordinate food and beverage operations with other Resort departments to ensure efficient guest service
- Resolve guest complaints as appropriate to maintain a high level of satisfaction and quality
- Coach and counsel employees to reflect Hyatt service standards and procedure
- Demonstrate proficient knowledge of spirits wines beers cocktails and emerging beverage trends
- Curate and maintain a diverse innovative beverage program that aligns with Hyatt standards and guest preferences
