Job Qualifications
- At least three years experience in food and beverage preferably in luxury resorts, private clubs or fine dining establishments with leadership roles
- Experience in banquet management and private event execution
- Knowledge of food safety standards
- Possession or ability to obtain Food Handlers and TABC certifications
- Strong knowledge in fine dining service and bartending
- Knowledgeable in wine, beer and mixed beverages
- Strong budget development and oversight skills
- Ability to multitask and manage time effectively
- Ability to learn club's operating system (TEI)
Job Duties
- Provide exceptional service and communication with members, guests and team members
- Ensure all areas are staffed, outfitted and set up daily
- Manage third party lifeguard team to ensure duties are performed during summer season
- Lead by example in Food and Beverage department and coordinate with Activity Barn Manager and Event Manager
- Assist with member or guest issues professionally and courteously
- Maintain understanding of bar, restaurant menus and pricing
- Manage point-of-sale system programming for accurate tracking
- Observe and communicate actively with team
- Initiate and attend departmental meetings
- Assist with daily scheduling and monitor punctuality
- Maintain product quality control and procedures
- Prepare team for daily activities
- Ensure compliance with safety, health and security standards
- Supervise pool complex operations and event activities
- Maintain cleanliness and appearance of pool complex and event spaces
- Oversee pool complex including waterslide, lazy river and food and beverage operations
- Collaborate with Director of Residential Services/Facilities Maintenance for pool complex supplies
- Plan and execute daily and special event programming with Event Manager
- Manage event setup, execution and breakdown
- Assist in setting buffets and food and beverage activations
- Act as primary liaison with members
- Oversee daily pool maintenance with contracted team
- Manage and track departmental budgets
- Develop standard operating procedures for Creek, Pool Complex and amenities
- Collaborate on creation of kid's camp summer program and year-round programs
- Innovate amenities and experiences offered
- Create reports related to the department
- Maintain adult and child AED, First Aid, and CPR program
- Perform other duties as assigned
