Job Requirements

  • Minimum five years experience in restaurant service
  • minimum three years supervisory experience
  • ability to communicate verbally and in writing in English
  • ability to write legibly in English
  • basic math skills
  • computer literacy including email and word processing
  • proficiency with point of sale systems
  • ability to use time and attendance software
  • minimum age twenty-one years
  • ability to train others
  • adherence to food safety and alcohol regulations.

Job Qualifications

  • Five or more years experience in restaurant service
  • three or more years supervisory experience
  • ability to communicate effectively in English both verbally and in writing
  • ability to perform basic mathematical calculations
  • proficiency in basic computer functions including email and word processing
  • ability to navigate point of sale systems
  • experience using time and attendance software
  • training others in front of house policies and procedures
  • minimum twenty-one years of age to serve alcoholic beverages.

Job Duties

  • Maintains expert level knowledge of all menus including cocktails, beers, wines, food items, and spirits
  • participates in pre-service meetings to communicate special reservations, dietary restrictions, and menu changes
  • develops and manages food and beverage marketing activities
  • maintains front of house department control and cash handling procedures
  • assists in training new hires and ongoing education for staff
  • organizes private events in coordination with management
  • ensures compliance with alcohol safety regulations and brand standards
  • welcomes guests and maintains a professional and inviting dining atmosphere
  • supervises dining room set-up and break-down
  • instructs staff on proper equipment use
  • anticipates guest needs and responds promptly
  • handles guest complaints professionally
  • reports on guest experience and staff performance
  • fills in for any front of house positions as needed
  • manages time and attendance records
  • administers menu knowledge testing
  • adheres to all safety and hygiene procedures
  • performs other duties as assigned.
