Job Requirements

  • 3+ years of management experience in food and beverage restaurant or hospitality operations community or resort setting preferred
  • direct FOH and BOH experience
  • strong leadership skills
  • excellent communication skills
  • organizational skills
  • proven experience in budget management and cost control
  • ServSafe certification or ability to obtain
  • ability to work flexible hours including evenings weekends and holidays

Job Duties

  • oversee daily operations of the restaurant and cafe including opening and closing procedures cleanliness and overall presentation
  • ensure all food and beverage areas meet or exceed quality consistency and safety standards
  • coordinate with vendors suppliers and community leadership to maintain efficient supply levels and cost controls
  • develop and implement standard operating procedures for both venues
  • manage budgets forecasts and inventory to meet financial targets
  • review and approve purchase orders invoices and payroll for food and beverage staff
  • analyze sales trends and create strategies to increase revenue and resident engagement
  • prepare and present regular performance and financial reports to management
  • recruit train schedule and supervise restaurant and cafe staff
  • foster a positive team-oriented environment focused on excellent customer service and continuous improvement
  • conduct regular performance evaluations and staff meetings
  • ensure compliance with all labor safety and sanitation regulations
  • create and promote a welcoming environment that reflects the community's culture and standards
  • collaborate with the events or lifestyle team on community functions special dining events and seasonal promotions
  • address and resolve resident or guest concerns promptly and professionally
  • work with chefs and baristas to develop appealing cost-effective menus and beverage offerings
  • introduce creative dining experiences themed events and seasonal specials that enhance resident engagement
