Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years experience in food and beverage management
  • proven leadership skills in a full-service restaurant environment
  • ability to manage and analyze financial performance
  • strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • excellent communication skills
  • proficiency in performance management and employee coaching
  • knowledge of inventory, payroll and budgeting processes
  • understanding of regulatory compliance for health and safety
  • physically able to stand, walk and lift up to 40 pounds
  • ability to work in a moderate noise environment

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management or related field preferred

Job Duties

  • Provide leadership and instill a culture and work environment based upon respect
  • provide opportunities for staff to learn, grow and develop abilities through training
  • manage and coordinate planning, organizing, training and leadership necessary to achieve sales, costs, employee retention, member satisfaction, food & beverage and rooms quality, cleanliness and sanitation
  • implement food & beverage strategy aligned with organizational policies and goals
  • develop and recommend annual budget, marketing plans and objectives and manage within approved plans
  • monitor and analyze cost center financial performance and contribution to profitability
  • implement and maintain F&B marketing and programming initiatives
  • hire, train, empower, coach and counsel employees
  • manage payroll, reports, forecasts, inventory and budget
  • implement procedures to increase member and employee satisfaction
  • understand and comply with all policies, procedures, standards and training programs
  • assume responsibility for quality of services
  • perform purchasing and inventory duties
  • fill in where needed to ensure guest service standards and efficient operations
  • develop staff in managerial and professional areas
  • oversee employee performance appraisals
  • comply with all health, safety and labor regulations
  • assist in creating dynamic menus
  • investigate and resolve member complaints
  • assume additional tasks assigned by supervisors
