Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years experience in food and beverage management
  • high school diploma or equivalent required
  • proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant management software
  • ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
  • strong organizational skills
  • excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • capability to handle multiple priorities and work under pressure
  • knowledge of compliance with local, state, and federal regulations

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management or related field preferred

Job Duties

  • Direct the day-to-day activities and assignments of food and beverage staff
  • ensure proper coverage
  • develop and communicate departmental strategies and goals
  • assign and prioritize work
  • communicate and enforce policies and procedures
  • recommend and initiate salary, disciplinary, or other staffing actions
  • alert General Manager of serious issues
  • ensure all staff is properly trained on quality and service standards
  • achieve budgeted revenues
  • prepare monthly forecast
  • monitor and control food, beverage and labor costs
  • maximize profitability
  • participate in preparation of annual departmental operating budget
  • establish and achieve quality and guest satisfaction goals
  • respond promptly to guest inquiries and complaints
  • develop, implement and maintain local food and beverage marketing programs
  • monitor competitors and industry trends
  • review and approve menu design and concepts with Executive Chef
  • adhere to brand standards
  • establish procedures and timeframes for conducting inventory
  • ensure security and proper storage of food, beverage and equipment
  • replenish supplies efficiently
  • minimize waste and pilferage
  • ensure food and beverage equipment is operational and cleaned regularly
  • maintain cleanliness and stocking of facilities
  • notify Engineering of maintenance needs
  • recruit and evaluate entertainment for outlets and events
  • promote teamwork and communication with other departments
  • interact with guests, vendors and regulatory agencies
