Job Requirements

  • working knowledge of food and beverage operations including financial controls, staff management, and equipment management
  • ability to provide high level of customer service with attention to detail
  • event planning and coordination skills
  • understanding of safe food handling and responsible alcohol service
  • capability to maintain safe and secure environment
  • commitment to club and company success
  • proficiency with required computer software
  • excellent communication skills
  • high school diploma or GED
  • 1 to 3 years related management experience
  • food protection certification
  • alcohol service certification

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • college degree preferred
  • 1 to 3 years management experience in food and beverage operations or related field
  • certified Food Protection Manager such as ServSafe or equivalent
  • Responsible Alcohol Service Certification
  • proficient in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and POS systems
  • excellent written and verbal communication skills

Job Duties

  • Promote and act in accordance with LGM values
  • ensure compliance with policies, procedures, standards, specifications, and training programs
  • monitor health and fire regulation compliance in food preparation and facility maintenance
  • make employment decisions including recruiting, hiring, evaluating, and disciplining staff
  • achieve company objectives in sales, service, quality, sanitation, and facility appearance
  • monitor weekly financial performance including sales, costs, payroll, and expenses
  • oversee food preparation methods and presentation consistency
  • ensure compliance with federal, state, and local health, safety, and labor regulations
  • hire, train, manage, and develop food and beverage staff
  • manage staff scheduling for daily operations and events
  • comply with purchasing agreements and vendor contracts
  • maintain food and bar inventory and place orders accordingly
  • market and manage event planning and non-golf activities
  • ensure all staff comply with health codes and liquor laws
  • serve members and guests during club functions as needed
  • coordinate setup and takedown of course events and complete reports
  • implement human resources and payroll procedures and maintain employee records
  • demonstrate commitment to club and company success through service orientation and professionalism
  • maintain confidentiality of company and member information
  • participate actively in staff meetings
  • perform additional duties as assigned
