Job Requirements

  • Excellent verbal communication and ability to multitask
  • High school diploma or equivalent experience/training
  • Four-year college degree, hospitality preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 2-3 years of restaurant management or equivalent experience
  • Luxury branded hospitality experience preferred
  • New Mexico Food Handler Certification
  • ServSafe Manager Certification
  • Alcohol Server Certification
  • Ability and willingness to work flexible hours including weekends, holidays and late nights
  • Ability to work on feet for eight hours or more
  • Knowledge of restaurant Point of Sale systems
  • Must be able to lift/push/reach for/carry 30 plus pounds frequently

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent experience/training
  • Four-year college degree, hospitality preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 2-3 years of restaurant management or equivalent experience
  • Luxury branded hospitality experience preferred
  • New Mexico Food Handler Certification
  • ServSafe Manager Certification
  • Alcohol Server Certification
  • Knowledge of restaurant Point of Sale systems
  • Strong communication and analytical skills
  • Experience with food and beverage cost control preferred

Job Duties

  • Oversee food and beverage areas within the hotel
  • Schedule staff according to business needs and special functions
  • Manage payroll, forecasting, and training
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws as well as company policies
  • Maintain reservation system and coordinate with kitchen to ensure smooth service
  • Lead and motivate restaurant staff including servers, bartenders, hosts, bussers, and runners
  • Handle large parties and booking procedures
  • Provide calm leadership during high-pressure situations
  • Close and cash out employees ensuring accuracy and accountability
  • Participate in departmental and leadership meetings
  • Follow food safety standards and company policies
  • Assist other food and beverage departments as needed
  • Deliver 4 Star service standards by anticipating guest needs
  • Perform other duties as assigned
