Job Requirements
- High school education required
- Current food handler's card and alcohol service certifications as required by laws
- Minimum three years management experience in hospitality food and beverage
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to multi-task and organize
- Ability to work under stress

Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Manages service aspects in all food and beverage assigned areas and events
- Manages dining rooms, lounges, bars and catering events to ensure proper room preparation including set-up of tables, chairs, linens, table settings, glassware, etc
- Confirms all service staff are in proper uniform and adhere to company appearance standards
- Hires, manages and trains staff in all technical and non-technical aspects of their roles
- Creates, maintains and distributes weekly schedules for staff and communicates changes appropriately
- Communicates with service and kitchen staff regarding reservations and special events
- Conducts pre-shift, pre-meal and pre-event meetings with necessary staff
- Evaluates and supervises performance and carries out disciplinary action as needed
- Makes rounds of all food and beverage outlets to ensure guest needs are met
- Handles employee relation issues in coordination with general manager and HR
- Completes and administers employee performance appraisals
- Conducts monthly beverage inventories and quarterly china, glass and silverware inventories
- Opens and closes dining rooms and bars regularly
- Acts as manager on duty as scheduled
- Controls costs by assisting in purchasing, profit and loss monitoring and labor cost management
- Maintains accurate daily and weekly punch details and processes daily sales reports
- Maximizes sales through marketing, promotions and staff training on up-selling
- Ensures staff adherence to safety, sanitation, food preparation and alcohol beverage control policies
- Maintains guest satisfaction by addressing inquiries, concerns and feedback
- Collaborates with executive chef on menu creation and pricing
- Ensures appropriate staffing for events and assigned responsibilities
- Upholds company and brand standards, policies and procedures
- Attends all required meetings
- Ensures in-room dining service and tray removal times meet guidelines
- Ensures reservation system efficiency
- Performs other duties as required by management
