Job Requirements
- assist in developing financial goals to meet or exceed within the department
- accurately forecast food and beverage revenue/expenses
- ensure hotel staff is trained in financial control procedures for cash, vouchers, inventories, and receivables
- identify major revenue and expense opportunities and possible problems
- create and distribute team member schedules in a timely manner
- develop and implement marketing and sales plans for food and beverage outlets, including implementation of menus, package deals, promotions, displays, decorations, and presentations within brand and IHM guidelines
- manage and maintain the sanitation of the food and beverage areas and equipment in the hotel to protect the assets, comply with regulations and ensure quality service
Job Qualifications
- ability to utilize POS system
- advanced knowledge of the principles and practices within the Food and Beverage/Hospitality profession
- highly motivated team player with strong initiative and desire for achievement
- must be effective in handling problems in the workplace including anticipating, preventing, identifying, and solving problems
- ability to work well in stressful situations
- readily available and approachable for all guests while providing excellent guest service
- valid driver's license is preferred
