Job Duties
- Monitor industry trends and update cocktail lists and menu items accordingly
- Prepare the food and beverage budget and monitor department performance to meet financial goals
- Coordinate with the General Manager to address food and beverage issues
- Implement and supervise loss prevention measures in the department
- Prepare and submit all required operational reports on time
- Organize and lead regular departmental meetings
- Ensure compliance with local liquor laws and health and sanitation regulations
- Train staff and ensure adherence to standard operating procedures
- Interview and hire front-of-house food and beverage staff
- Conduct and participate in pre-event and post-event meetings
- Provide employees with necessary tools to deliver exceptional dining experiences
- Develop and implement strategies for employee engagement
- Inspect food for seasoning, portion control, and presentation consistency
- Create an outstanding dining experience for guests
- Handle guest and employee interactions professionally and courteously
- Attend hotel-mandated meetings and training
- Maintain team grooming and appearance standards
- Identify and resolve productivity and operational issues
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management
