Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 2+ years of food and beverage, restaurant and bar management experience
  • Ability to work safely, effectively, and efficiently
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines with attention to detail
  • Ability to speak, read, and write English clearly and effectively
  • Compliance with safety rules and reporting of any injuries
  • Authorized to work in the U.S. as verified by E-Verify
  • Physical ability to sit, stand, walk, use hands, and meet vision requirements

Job Qualifications

  • 2+ years of food and beverage, restaurant and bar management experience
  • Strong leadership and staff management skills
  • Excellent customer service and communication abilities
  • Knowledge of inventory control and cost management
  • Understanding of food safety and sanitation regulations
  • Ability to handle complaints and maintain composure under pressure
  • Experience coordinating employee training and development

Job Duties

  • Supervise, train, and mentor food and beverage service staff including servers, bartenders, and support staff
  • Create and maintain a positive work environment fostering teamwork and professional growth
  • Assist in scheduling staff effectively to meet operational needs while optimizing labor costs
  • Responsible for assigning and supervising all opening and closing side duties
  • Hold daily meetings to discuss operational matters and engage in ongoing employee training
  • Assist in overseeing inventory levels of food and beverage items including ordering, receiving, and stocking
  • Implement inventory control measures to minimize waste and ensure cost-effectiveness
  • Conduct regular inventory audits and reconcile discrepancies
  • Monitor food preparation, presentation, and service to ensure adherence to quality standards
  • Address any issues related to food or beverage quality promptly and effectively
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in all food and beverage service areas
  • Circulate on the floor to ensure guest satisfaction and handle guest complaints effectively
  • Monitor and supervise restaurant and bar operations to ensure proper functioning
  • Communicate positively and clearly with customers and employees
  • Maintain composure during busy periods or emergencies
  • Collaborate with all departments to ensure smooth operations and uphold guest service standards
  • Perform onboarding duties in the absence of the Onboarding Human Resources Manager
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and internal policies
  • Oversee food safety practices and alcohol service laws
  • Organize training programs and workshops to support employee development
  • Serve as primary contact for beverage quality assurance providing hands-on training as needed
