Job Requirements
- minimum of one year experience in food and beverage
- ability to work nights, weekends and holidays
- strong leadership and interpersonal skills
- excellent communication abilities
- capability to manage and coordinate food and beverage operations
- flexible with shift schedules including day and night shifts
Job Qualifications
- previous experience in a food and beverage role
- strong verbal and written communication skills
- strong attention to detail, planning and organizational skills
- experience supervising others and leading a team
- excellent customer skills
Job Duties
- comply with the national programs such as core beverage program, menu program, approved product list, beverage cart program
- effectively lead staff to ensure quality service is delivered
- continually follow up to ensure tasks are being completed timely and to the appropriate standards and that tools and equipment are operating properly
- ensure staff receives proper safety and job skills training through group training, on the job training, communication, meetings, etc.
- assist in the selection, development, leadership and retention of talented food and beverage staff
- ensure financial targets are being met and appropriate accounting procedures are being followed consistently
- ensure food and beverage staff are providing excellent guest service
- maintain constant communication between departments and keep other departments informed about special programs and events
