Job Requirements
- High school graduate or GED preferred
- Previous experience in restaurant, banquet and/or hotel food and beverage preferred
- ServSafe training required
- Ability to communicate effectively in English
- Ability to work varied schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds frequently and up to 50 pounds occasionally
- Ability to comply with federal, state, and local laws including OSHA and health code regulations
- Ability to maintain professional appearance and demeanor
- Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
- Willingness to attend mandatory training sessions and meetings
Job Qualifications

- Previous restaurant, banquet and/or hotel food and beverage experience preferred
- ServSafe training required
- Knowledge of food and beverage in restaurant or hotel operations
- Ability to speak, read, write and comprehend English proficiently

- Ability to prioritize, organize and manage multiple tasks
- Strong leadership skills and ability to be a role model
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Job Duties
- Direct day-to-day activities ensuring food is prepared according to food handling regulations, guidelines and brand standards
- Maintain cleanliness while being attentive to guest needs
- Greet all guests and engage with them, replenishing coffee and providing a memorable guest experience
- Maintain complete knowledge of and comply with department policies, service procedures and standards
- Forecast, implement, monitor, control and report on various cost components to maximize profitability
- Maintain quality and service standards and ensure tools and equipment are available
- Maintain inventory of all food supply and assist with food orders
- Assist in set-up, service and breakdown of banquet functions
- Inspect kitchen, prep area and dining space for cleanliness and proper setup
- Establish par levels for supplies and complete requisitions to replenish shortages
- Maintain knowledge of correct equipment maintenance and use
- Check storage areas for proper supplies, organization and cleanliness
- Instruct personnel to rectify deficiencies
- Adhere to all safety and brand standards
- Respond to guest requests and complaints timely and efficiently
- Maintain professional image through appearance and dress
- Follow company policies and communicate them to subordinates
- Operate hotel in accordance with laws including OSHA, EEOC, wage and hour, and health codes
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor or management
