Job Requirements

  • Experience in food and beverage management
  • knowledge of luxury hotel operations
  • experience working in a unionized environment preferred
  • excellent leadership skills
  • strong communication skills
  • ability to manage budgets and labor costs
  • capacity to motivate and develop staff
  • understanding of safety and emergency procedures
  • proficiency in employee performance management
  • ability to resolve workplace conflicts effectively

Job Qualifications

  • Two years food and beverage management in luxury world-class hotel
  • two years technical food and beverage experience and/or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • previous employee management in Local 6 union environment desired
  • primary quality detailed service ethic
  • strong interpersonal staff and guest relations
  • team minded approach to fellow workers
  • ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form
  • ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations
