Job Requirements

  • High school education
  • Degree in culinary arts, hotel and restaurant management, or related major
  • Four or more years of related food and beverage management experience
  • Alcohol awareness certification preferred
  • Knowledge of accounting and budgeting
  • Ability to compile and analyze data for decision making
  • Leadership skills to manage competing priorities
  • Effective scheduling, delegation, and staff management skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Professionalism and confidentiality
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Legal eligibility to work
  • Ability to travel
  • Physical ability to perform duties including standing, walking, lifting up to 50 pounds
  • Compliance with safety protocols and use of protective equipment
  • Close vision with or without corrective lenses
  • Ability to operate a motor vehicle

Job Qualifications

  • Ability to travel as needed

Job Duties

  • Manage daily food and beverage operations including guest service, sales, accounting and budgeting, asset protection, inventory control, and human resources
  • Run operations in alignment with the General Manager's direction, company and brand standards, and legal regulations
  • Ensure quality service and achievement of financial goals through short and long term planning
  • Recommend budgets, marketing and business plans, and capital expenditures while managing within approved plans
  • Directly manage assigned staff and indirectly oversee all subordinates
  • Communicate company goals effectively to staff and foster a common commitment to exceed these goals
  • Collaborate with hotel management and other departments to enhance guest satisfaction
