Job Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of restaurant management experience
- experience managing front of house and back of house teams including bar and beverage program oversight
- legal ability to serve alcohol
- flexible to work nights and weekends
- ability to work independently and lead a team
- dependable and reliable
- capable of working in a fast-paced environment under pressure
- extensive knowledge of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages
- understanding of local and state regulations related to alcohol service and health compliance
- competency in resource management and inventory control

- knowledge of basic accounting, personnel management and marketing

Job Duties
- Ensure guest satisfaction
- create a positive and upbeat atmosphere of engagement for guests and associates
- coordinate daily front of the house and back of the house restaurant operations
- respond efficiently and accurately to customer complaints
- manage food and beverage inventory, ordering and receiving, including liquor, beer, wine and food
- audit inventory levels and order products as necessary
- review product quality and research new vendors
- prepare weekly schedules for bartender, barback and server staff
- provide coverage in case of employee absence
- oversee preparation of beverages and ensure quality of product served
- train new and current employees on proper customer service practices
- appraise staff performance and provide feedback to improve productivity
- ensure readiness for internal and external audits such as alcohol awareness, food safety, sanitation, health inspection, safety training and certification
- manage restaurant's good image and suggest improvements
- control operational costs and identify measures to cut waste
- create detailed reports on weekly, monthly and annual revenues and expenses
- perform opening and closing tasks including checklist completion, cash handling and deposits
