Job Duties

  • Monitor industry trends and update cocktail lists and menu items as necessary
  • prepare and monitor the food and beverage department budget
  • collaborate with the General Manager regarding food and beverage issues
  • coordinate and oversee loss prevention measures in the department
  • prepare and submit required operational reports on time
  • conduct regular department meetings
  • ensure compliance with liquor laws and health sanitation regulations
  • oversee departmental training and standard operating procedures compliance
  • interview and hire front-of-house food and beverage staff
  • attend and conduct pre-event and post-event meetings
  • provide employees with tools and environment to deliver exceptional dining experiences
  • develop strategies to enhance employee engagement
  • maintain product consistency through inspections of seasoning, portions, and food appearance
  • create unforgettable dining experiences in the restaurant and banquet facilities
  • handle guest interactions with attentiveness and courtesy
  • participate in all required hotel meetings and trainings
  • maintain high standards of team appearance and grooming
  • maximize productivity and implement solutions to problem areas
  • effectively handle and solve operational and guest-related problems
