Job Duties
- Monitor industry trends and update cocktail lists and menu items as necessary
- prepare and monitor the food and beverage department budget
- collaborate with the General Manager regarding food and beverage issues
- coordinate and oversee loss prevention measures in the department
- prepare and submit required operational reports on time
- conduct regular department meetings
- ensure compliance with liquor laws and health sanitation regulations
- oversee departmental training and standard operating procedures compliance
- interview and hire front-of-house food and beverage staff
- attend and conduct pre-event and post-event meetings
- provide employees with tools and environment to deliver exceptional dining experiences
- develop strategies to enhance employee engagement
- maintain product consistency through inspections of seasoning, portions, and food appearance
- create unforgettable dining experiences in the restaurant and banquet facilities
- handle guest interactions with attentiveness and courtesy
- participate in all required hotel meetings and trainings
- maintain high standards of team appearance and grooming
- maximize productivity and implement solutions to problem areas
- effectively handle and solve operational and guest-related problems
- perform other duties as assigned by management
