Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- minimum two years of food and beverage management experience
- food/beverage service worker permit where applicable
- ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends and holidays
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- physical ability to stand for extended periods
- strong leadership and organizational skills
- pass pre-employment drug test and background check
Job Qualifications
- read, write and speak English
- two to three years of fine dining experience preferred
- two years banquet management experience preferred
- food/beverage service worker permit where applicable
- ability to communicate effectively with public and employees
- previous supervisory or management skills and experience
- 8th grade math level
- high school reasoning level
- 12th grade language use level
- meet minimum age requirement of jurisdiction
- no direct threat to health or safety
Job Duties
- assist department head in oversight of food and beverage activities
- ensure compliance with health, safety, sanitation and alcohol awareness standards
- maintain high standards of food and beverage quality, service and marketing
- interview, train, supervise, coach, schedule and manage staff
- maximize profits through effective food and beverage operations
- ensure outstanding customer service
- enforce health and safety regulations
