Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management, business administration, or related field preferred
  • five plus years of experience in food and beverage management
  • prior leadership role managing large teams in high-volume food and beverage operations
  • proven experience in budgeting, cost control, and financial analysis
  • knowledge of food and beverage trends and health and safety regulations
  • ServSafe, RBS, or TIPS certification
  • strong leadership and team management abilities
  • excellent customer service and communication skills
  • ability to analyze financial reports and track performance metrics
  • proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and point-of-sale systems
  • ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds
  • willingness to perform inventory management tasks including bending and reaching

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management, business administration, or related field preferred
  • five plus years of experience in food and beverage management within hospitality or hotel industry
  • proven leadership experience managing large teams in high-volume operations
  • experience in budgeting, cost control, and financial analysis
  • knowledge of food and beverage trends, industry best practices, and health and safety regulations
  • ServSafe, RBS, or TIPS certified
  • strong leadership and team management skills
  • excellent customer service skills focused on guest experiences
  • in-depth knowledge of food and beverage operations including menu development and inventory management
  • strong organizational and time-management skills
  • excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • ability to analyze financial data and make data-driven decisions
  • proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and POS systems

Job Duties

  • Oversee daily operations of food and beverage outlets including restaurants, bars, banquets, and room service
  • ensure all food and beverage services meet hotel standards and guest expectations
  • monitor processes, workflows, and staffing to ensure efficiency and service excellence
  • manage guest inquiries and resolve complaints professionally
  • lead, train, and manage food and beverage staff including servers, bartenders, cooks, and supervisors
  • develop and implement staff training programs on menu offerings, service standards, and safety protocols
  • conduct staff performance evaluations and provide coaching
  • create staffing schedules ensuring coverage during peak and special events
  • collaborate with culinary team on menu development aligning with hotel standards
  • ensure menus are diverse, profitable, and sustainable
  • monitor and control food and beverage costs to maintain profit margins
  • implement cost control and inventory management strategies
  • oversee ordering of supplies and maintain stock levels
  • assist in preparing annual budgets and financial forecasts
  • monitor expenses and take corrective actions to stay within budget
  • analyze financial reports to evaluate operations
  • develop pricing strategies to maximize revenue
  • maintain high guest service standards and promote a guest-centric culture
  • use feedback to improve service quality
  • plan and execute special events, promotions, and themed dinners
  • ensure compliance with health and safety regulations including food safety and sanitation
  • maintain proper storage and handling of food and beverages
  • train staff on health and safety procedures
  • conduct regular inspections of preparation areas and equipment
  • oversee inventory control and coordinate with suppliers
  • conduct inventory audits
  • maintain kitchen and bar equipment
  • collaborate with marketing on promotion of food and beverage outlets and events
  • contribute to development of promotional campaigns and seasonal menus
