Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least four years of management experience in a banquet facility servicing large events
- Serve-safe certification
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Ability to maintain customer service standards
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel
- Ability to manage budgets and labor costs
- Ability to supervise and train staff
- Capability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Physical ability for minimal stooping and lifting
- Ability to walk extensively and operate office equipment

Job Duties
- Hiring and training food and beverage servers, cashiers and bartenders
- Maintaining labor costs and budget goals
- Fulfilling service as per Banquet Event Orders (BEO)
- Maintaining active role in local hospitality community and professional associations
- Attending in-house event-related meetings and relaying immediate changes with other departments
- Maintaining banquet equipment cleanliness and annual maintenance
- Maintaining a health department score of 90 or higher
- Designing creative buffets and coffee break decor
- Ensuring attention to detail and consistency in service
- Hands-on interaction with clients during events
- Ordering linen and maintaining uniforms
- Managing inventory control including beverage inventory and ordering
- Overseeing payroll, cash handling and banquet checks
- Communicating daily with Food and Beverage Director, Operations Managers and other employees
- Other duties as assigned
