Job Requirements

  • must be available for emergency and scheduled work on evenings, weekends or holidays
  • American Red Cross and AED certification preferred or willing to take course
  • must be available to work flexible shifts
  • must be able to lift, push or pull up to 25 lbs occasionally
  • must be able to climb stairs
  • must have ServSafe certification or Mobile County Food and Beverage Handler card
  • valid photo ID and original signed social security card required
  • willing to submit to background check

Job Qualifications

  • 2-3 years management experience
  • good human relation skills
  • strong verbal and written communication skills
  • strong editing skills
  • well-developed problem-solving skills
  • ability to develop conceptual alternatives
  • seek out new methods and innovative ideas
  • advanced computer skills including Microsoft Office
  • knowledge of club management software

Job Duties

  • Facilitate and plan food and beverage department activities
  • coordinate staff activities for daily operations and special events
  • manage service and breakdown of events efficiently
  • ensure personnel follow food and beverage protocols
  • work with team in a fast-paced environment
  • suggest changes to generate cost savings and improve quality standards
  • motivate employees and participate in recruitment
  • ensure compliance with health department regulations
  • create detailed notes for superiors
  • maintain member satisfaction
