Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Culinary degree preferred (2- or 4-year program)
  • Bachelor’s in Business Administration or related field preferred
  • Minimum 3 years of management experience in fine dining, resort, or luxury hospitality setting
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a commercial or resort kitchen
  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, email systems, and Toast POS
  • ServSafe certification required
  • Working knowledge of commercial kitchen equipment (ovens, mixers, blenders, etc.)

Job Duties

  • Oversee daily operations of The Polly Cafe and other property-wide food and beverage services
  • Develop and execute innovative menus, continuously refining recipes and concepts to keep offerings fresh and exciting
  • Lead, train, and inspire a high-performing culinary and service team to deliver consistently exceptional guest experiences
  • Ensure compliance with Utah Department of Health and all food safety and sanitation standards
  • Manage budgets, purchasing, and inventory to meet financial goals while maintaining top-quality standards
  • Collaborate closely with ownership, residents, and staff to deliver a welcoming, community-driven dining experience
  • Monitor food trends and guest feedback to adjust menus and service approaches proactively
  • Create and maintain weekly schedules, ensuring proper staffing and operational efficiency
  • Lead by example-fostering professionalism, positivity, and teamwork throughout all areas of food and beverage operations
