Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 4 years experience in food and beverage, culinary, or related field
  • OR 2-year degree from accredited university in food service management, hotel and restaurant management, hospitality, business administration, or related major
  • 2 years experience in related field
  • Proven management experience
  • Ability to lead and motivate a diverse team
  • Strong organizational and financial management skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Knowledge of food and beverage laws and regulations

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED with 4 years experience in food and beverage, culinary, or related professional area
  • OR 2-year degree in Food Service Management, Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related major with 2 years experience
  • Knowledge of food and beverage laws and regulations
  • Proven leadership and team management skills
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Experience with budget development and cost control
  • Ability to provide coaching and performance management

Job Duties

  • Develops and manages financial, employee engagement and guest satisfaction plans for Food and Beverage departments
  • Maintains a positive cost management index for kitchen and restaurant operations
  • Manages all Food and Beverage departments excluding catering sales
  • Supervises and manages employees and day-to-day operations
  • Oversees culinary, restaurant, beverage and room service operations
  • Provides excellent customer service and responds proactively to guest and employee concerns
  • Conducts performance reviews, coaching, and mentoring of team members
  • Sets service and performance expectations and verifies standards are met
  • Ensures compliance with corporate accounting procedures
  • Drives departmental communication and information systems
