Job Requirements
- Must be at least 16 years of age
- food and beverage experience
- able to react well in stressful and emergency situations
- willing to actively engage guests
- fluent in English including reading, speaking and understanding
- able to work flexible hours including weekends, nights and holidays
- possess above-average communication skills
- able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- safety conscious and friendly demeanor
- able to sit, stand, bend, and kneel frequently
- able to stand and walk up to 6 hours at a time and up to 14 hours a day
- able to walk over 3 miles per day over various surfaces
- able to lift and carry 25 lbs over 25 feet over various surfaces
- able to lift and lower 5 lbs above shoulder level
- able to climb a stepladder up to 6 feet in height
Job Qualifications
- Must be at least 16 years of age
- food and beverage experience
- culinary and hospitality preferred but not required
- ability to react well in stressful and emergency situations
- willingness to actively engage guests
- effective communication skills in English including reading and speaking
- availability to work flexible hours including weekends, nights, and holidays
- above-average communication skills
- ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- safety conscious with an outgoing and friendly demeanor
Job Duties
- Prepare and serve food with a smile
- use register for sale of products
- monitor food temperatures during holding and serving
- adhere to all company policies including cash handling
- observe proper sanitation guidelines at all times (hair restrained, hand washing, etc.)
- perform clean-up duties before, during and after shifts
- exhibit proper guest service skills at all times
- ensure optimal performance of assigned locations following Six Flags mantra of Friendly, Clean, Fast, and Safe service
- may be shifted to various locations as staffing needs dictate
- maintain a clean and organized work area
- assist with guest concerns to ensure complete guest satisfaction
- submit orders for products based on projected attendance
- track inventory movement and conduct weekly comprehensive inventory counts
- troubleshoot issues and escalate to management as needed
- conduct coaching and counseling sessions with team members
- maintain compliance with all labor laws and food safety regulations
- perform other duties as assigned
