Job Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled student at Del Mar College
  • prior experience or interest in food and beverage operations
  • knowledge of state food safety and liquor laws
  • experience with inventory management
  • proficiency with point-of-sale systems
  • strong customer service skills
  • ability to work in fast-paced environments
  • motivated and professional demeanor

Job Duties

  • Assist Food and Beverage Department with day-to-day operations
  • observe and learn from supervision in catering, concessions, and culinary departments
  • assist in planning and scheduling employee shifts
  • support inventory management activities
  • maintain compliance with food safety and state liquor laws
  • contribute to guest service excellence
  • participate in professional development and portfolio-building projects
