Job Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in college/university or recent graduate
  • ability to communicate in the English language preferred
  • ability to work in a shared space with constant noise
  • ability to manage frequently changing priorities and deadlines
  • willingness to work varied schedules based on business demands
  • physical ability to move 10lbs daily and lift up to 50lbs weekly
  • ability to spend long periods sitting, waiting, and standing
  • part-time employment status

Job Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in college/university or recent graduate eligible for internship programs
  • strong guest service and interpersonal skills
  • ability to remain calm, use sound judgement and solve problems effectively
  • ability to work quickly, prioritize, and manage multiple tables simultaneously
  • effective communication skills in English preferred
  • ability to relate to diverse guest types

Job Duties

  • Confirm and maintain reservation, greet guest, and escort them to their table
  • coordinate flow of the dining room to ensure prompt service
  • assist with table reset and menu knowledge
  • assist with setting up events including placing linens, polishing silver and glass ware, cleaning china
  • serve food and beverages to large groups
  • set up and stock bar with beer, wine, spirits, flavor mixes/syrup, garnishments and glassware
  • create classic cocktails and balance flavors
  • manage overall operation of a restaurant including table assignments, guest flow and server coordination
  • greet and interact with internal and external guests in a warm and professional manner
  • maintain confidentiality of guest information and key control
