Job Requirements

  • Must be able to lift, push and pull up to 40 pounds
  • Currently enrolled as a college student
  • Availability during the summer semester
  • Ability to work flexible shifts including mornings and evenings
  • Willingness to participate in departmental trainings and meetings
  • Strong work ethic and reliable attendance
  • Good interpersonal skills

Job Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in college
  • Ability to work morning and evening shifts
  • Strong communication skills
  • Willingness to learn multiple food and beverage roles
  • Ability to follow Forbes standards
  • Basic understanding of hospitality operations
  • Ability to participate in team meetings and management stand-ups

Job Duties

  • Participate in hotel and departmental orientations
  • Train on Forbes standards
  • Shadow various restaurant positions including In Room Dining, Host person, Server - Assistant
  • Learn POS system and cash handling/tip-out procedures
  • Participate in daily pre-shift meetings
  • Shadow F&B Management and complete special projects
  • Assist in banquet and catering departmental roles and work in Rugby Grille as needed
