Job Requirements

  • at least four years of related experience in food and beverage operations in a casino environment preferred
  • excellent written verbal and group presentation communication skills
  • ability to effectively interact with individuals or small groups of people
  • computer literate with proficiency in microsoft word and excel and various property management systems
  • strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task
  • at least 21 years of age
  • valid alcohol awareness work card
  • valid health work card
  • valid non-gaming work card
  • vision hearing speech and literacy
  • ability to work in smoky environment with moderate to loud noise
  • ability to walk stand or stoop up to 100 percent of the time
  • ability to work for sustained periods maintaining concentrated attention to detail

Job Duties

  • review and research all department financial reports including monthly profit and loss statements and prepare p l variance report
  • emphasize staff training to increase guest service standards
  • provide continual evaluation of processes and procedures and provide methods to improve efficiency and service
  • formulate training outlines as needed for job standards to ensure all employees understand and have the skills to provide quality internal and external guest service
  • emphasize developing and training program for management staff
  • ensure management staff follows guidelines as dictated by department policies and procedures
  • ensure employee schedules are appropriate for the business volume
  • ensure that the restaurants are clean organized and properly functioning and that restaurant equipment is maintained
  • ensure health safety and sanitation standards are followed at all times
