Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Record of Hep A vaccine or ability to receive as required by St Louis City Health Department
  • Food Handler's Safety Card or certification
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to build positive relationships with team members
  • Ability to work quickly under pressure in a team environment
  • Ability to operate hot kitchen equipment safely
  • Must be able to stand for long periods
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to bend, stoop, lift, climb, carry and reach frequently
  • Punctual and reliable
  • Must be able to work varied hours including weekends, evenings, and holidays

Job Qualifications

  • Willingness to perform other duties as assigned

Job Duties

  • Provide great customer service to guests with a friendly and attentive attitude
  • Set up workstations and prepare and assemble menu items to specification
  • Prepare recipes, stock supplies, and maintain cleanliness of workstation
  • Handle closing shift duties including breaking down equipment, restocking, and cleaning
  • Accurately process credit card payments and vouchers, issue change and receipts
  • Operate hot kitchen equipment such as fryers, grills, stove tops, and ovens safely
  • Follow City Museum policies and procedures at all times
