Job Requirements

At least 18 years of age
previous food or grocery experience preferred
strong communication skills
ability to operate handheld scanners and technology
ability to work independently and in a team
attention to detail
ability to work in fast-paced environment
able to handle cash register operations
ability to climb ladders
ability to lift or move merchandise up to 44 pounds
flexible work schedule including nights weekends and holidays
ability to work in temperature ranges from 34F to -10F
able to work around common allergens
ability to remain mobile for entire shift

Job Qualifications

Must be at least 18 years of age or older
previous food or grocery experience preferred but not required
welcoming and helpful attitude toward all guests and other team members
ability to communicate on multiple frequency devices and operate handheld scanners and other technology equipment as directed
work both independently and with a team
resolve guest questions quickly
attention to detail and follow multi-step processes
capability to remain focused and composed in a fast-paced environment and accomplish multiple tasks within established timeframes

Job Duties

Deliver an exceptional guest experience providing a fresh and full shopping experience during all hours of operations prioritizing the guest's needs over task
uphold and maintain the execution of the Food & Beverage Standards
execute Food & Beverage processes including food deliveries replenishment straightening merchandise in-stocks routines data accuracy culling rotation cleaning signing and organizing and storing reserve product
follow all food safety requirements as outlined in Target's policies and procedures
use sampling and suggestive selling to promote products and increase sales
work with vendors to proactively set maintain and make planned changes to sales floor merchandise displays and to keep organized backroom space
locate and identify damaged recalled or expired items and process according to Target's policies and procedures
