Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Hotel, Restaurant & Tourism Management or relevant field
  • State Manager’s Food Handling Certificate
  • Minimum three years hands-on experience in food and beverage operations
  • Licensed and insured to operate a motor vehicle in the United States
  • Ability to work independently with little or no supervision
  • Excellent organizational, planning, communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to perform multiple tasks efficiently
  • Maintain effective working relationships with clients, employees, and others
  • Follow oral and written instructions
  • Organize and prioritize work to meet deadlines
  • Work under pressure and meet stringent schedules
  • Culinary and facilities operations knowledge
  • Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Remain flexible and adjust to evolving situations

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Hotel, Restaurant & Tourism Management or relevant field
  • State Manager’s Food Handling Certificate
  • Minimum three years hands-on experience in food and beverage operations
  • Knowledge of food and wine and creativity in offerings
  • Proficiency with computer operations including Windows and Office applications
  • Experience with CLOVER point of sale system
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and under pressure
  • Strong organizational and planning capabilities
  • Licensed and insured to operate a motor vehicle in the United States

Job Duties

  • Assist in developing and implementing food and beverage training programs, policies, and procedures
  • Take direction from leadership and effectively organize and supervise all part-time food and beverage staff
  • Coach employees by creating a shared understanding about objectives and execution methods
  • Utilize food production software to ensure compliance with contracts and compute menu costs accurately
  • Provide the highest level of customer service excellence
  • Oversee food and beverage operations during events to guarantee client satisfaction
  • Create employee schedules for concessions, servers, and bartenders
  • Follow all card handling policies and building-specific procedures
  • Innovate and apply mixology techniques
  • Meet deadlines for reports and projects required by senior management
  • Ensure adherence to all Savor Food and Beverage policies and procedures
  • Assist in maintaining Health Department scores of 90 or higher
  • Exhibit attention to detail and consistency in service
  • Demonstrate strong problem-solving, planning, and organizational skills
  • Enforce sanitation procedures and OSHA safety guidelines
  • Follow opening and closing protocols to ensure secured and clean areas
  • Perform additional reasonable requests by management regarding staffing and performance needs
