Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • one to three years related supervisory experience preferred
  • strong interpersonal and communication skills required
  • appropriate licenses as required
  • ServSafe certification or ability to become certified
  • knowledge of HACCP standards required
  • active employee permit from the Indiana Alcohol and Tobacco Commission and completion of approved Indiana ATC server training
  • possession of a Level 4 Gaming License

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred

  • ability to read, analyze, and interpret policy and procedure manuals
  • ability to write reports and memos
  • effective verbal communication skills in various group settings
  • basic mathematical skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division
  • ability to apply common sense reasoning

Job Duties

  • Understand and assist with Sequence of Service in all food and beverage outlets
  • enforce performance standards, policies and procedures related to venue operations
  • monitor service in all assigned venues
  • ensure smooth and efficient operations by being visible and active in the venue and communicating with management
  • maintain the highest standards of guest service and employee relations fairly and equitably
  • ensure compliance with health and safety standards, beverage laws, and federal, state and local regulations
  • assist venue managers with employee scheduling and staffing adjustments based on guest needs
  • monitor job performance and provide feedback to enhance employee skills
  • provide operational input to venue managers on deficiencies and improvements
  • work closely with culinary and stewarding teams to ensure food quality, recipe adherence, sanitation, and supply availability
  • promote positive guest relations through courteous and efficient service and handle guest issues appropriately
  • review and coach employees and assist with hiring, training, promoting, evaluating, disciplining and terminating employees fairly
  • maintain professional grooming and appearance
  • handle guest comments to guest satisfaction
  • maintain knowledge of local gaming laws and internal policies
  • complete shift administrative tasks including reports, ordering, scheduling, service recoveries, and incident documentation
